David Allen is a Registered Building Designer with 20 years experience in Building Design and Drafting, Construction, Project Management and Furniture Making.

David’s experience in Building Design includes working as a carpenter throughout his career, providing a thorough knowledge of on-site construction which he believes is vital to the design process.

David has a passion for designing small spaces, with influences from Japanese design, incorporating plywood and solid timber joinery to create well thought out, inviting, warm and cozy interiors.

David’s past experience as a qualified Furniture Designer/Maker complements these design philosophies.

David also has worked in commercial Project Management, modular and pre-fabricated construction and large scale residential.
